| Job Description | • Coordinates the Mechanical engineering discipline with that of other disciplines.
• Maintains records, files and other documents pertaining to the Mechanical discipline.
• Assists the Project Engineering Manager in identifying the engineering documents that must comply with regulatory/licensing requirements.
• Assumes “in charge” responsibility for ensuring that engineering documents comply with applicable state laws/regulations, including affixing registered engineer seal when required.
• May manage groups of engineers, designers and/or specialists with minimal guidance or supervision.
• Works toward achieving compatibility of customer's and Company’s objectives.
• Assigns preparers and checkers for Mechanical discipline specifications and coordinates review of external specifications.
• Establishes schedules and budgets to meet project requirements and obtains approval.
• Maintains technical coordination with the Principal Engineer to ensure adherence to industry codes, regulatory requirements and sound engineering practices.
• Coordinates Mechanical engineering activities for a discipline with those of other disciplines on the project.

| Skill Required | Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in Mechanical engineering from a four year accredited college or university.
Software knowledge : Microstation, AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom, Gatecycle si PV Elite
Experience:
15+ years of professional power industry experience with 5 years of supervising experience. Professional Engineering License (or national equivalent) required
