Job Description Perform account prospecting, lead follow-up, and account qualification for targeted accounts to achieve or exceed assigned sales quota/product mix objectives in an individual contributor capacity.  Develop and implement plans and strategies to maintain and expand sales within assigned territory of accounts.  Participate in contract negotiation, proposal development, technical support, customer service, installation and customer training activities. Liaison between customer and program management staff to resolve problems, follow-up on delivery and installation dates.  Prepare account plans/proposal strategies and assume responsibility for the implementation of plans. Prepare product and long-range budgets for forecasts.  Plan and participate in technical / product presentations / demonstrations / trade shows.  Prepare status reports on activities in the territory; recommend potential areas or business and new / enhances products to management.
Skill Required- B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or Technical discipline or equivalent business experience. - Minimum of 5 years direct enterprise selling experience in the communications industry. Preference given to those with VSAT/Satellite and/or data transmission equipment selling experience. - Ability to quickly learn new technology or new products. - Knowledge of communications networks with sales techniques, equipment technologies, product configuration and uses. - Excellent communication, presentation skills and organizational ability. - A proven sales – hunter with prior experience as an individual contributor. - Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
