| Job Description | The Product Manager is responsible for helping drive product roadmaps and product requirements, then partnering with the Engineering and Program Management organizations to guide the development process to successful product launch and operations. The individual will also help in activities related to relevant industry standards initiatives.
This position works closely with the Development, Marketing and Sales departments to support customer needs, understand market trends, define requirements, assess competitors, and translate these findings into effective product strategies.
Responsibilities:
* Discover, filter, and document customer requirements and competitive product offerings; help with the development of MRDs/PRDs, and product documentation and collateral.
* Work closely with Software & Hardware Engineering to define, prioritize, and implement product release features / functions.
* Help generate content for outbound marketing material (product brochures, whitepapers, etc.)
* Resolve escalated product, customer satisfaction, and cross-organization process issues.
*Track and influence standards development activities.

| Skill Required | * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Eng or related discipline.
* 1-3 years experience in product management.
* Minimum 3 years experience in software and/or hardware development.
* Experience with advanced communications networking and telecom network management standards and technologies
* Strong device background- understanding of the communications interfaces, modules etc
* Strong understanding of secure deployment architectures, system vulnerability issues related to communications infrastructure
* Architecture Assessment/Definition Experience. Help define the architecture roadmap to ensure full functional/non-functional/standards compatibility
* Ability to excel at: modeling, problem solving, working independently, juggling and prioritizing multiple projects
* Solid communication, consensus building, negotiation and facilitation skills
